Build Yurt
"Crazy!
"Idiot!"
"Dumb!
Some of the words people say about my year-end trip to Snowshoe snow on mountains. Eight of us will go on the ice and snow, above which trees can grow from 2 nights in a tent.
Forecasts call temperatures in the 20's high, but fortunately for us, yurts, we put our heads, wood stoves to keep the place nice and toasted.
To prepare for this walk for miles with all our food and supplies bound Upon our return, I had to do a fairly extensive training.
During my training I have focused mainly on the legs, core and upper body.
For my legs as I tried to work all muscle groups at the bottom. Since the walk is very stiff legs work particularly useful. Squats, leg presses and throws most of my time, but also drive my abductor and adductor muscle groups of the hip.
As mentioned above, its function is essential in any business. For this trip a strong core will help support the weight of packaging and sled in the mountains. Having this stability will allow other parts of my body to do its work, not will be invoked more than necessary.
My upper body strength will be useful for certain activities required once we install the yurt. Transportation wood in the shed of the yurt. Shovel a path between the two yurts and toilet. Carving a path on the hill, sled down. All these activities require upper body strength and whose upper torso installer allows me more, a shovel and carve long runs faster.
However this should be a very memorable trip, but since I've taken the necessary precautions training, not expecting to be memorable for the wrong reasons.
