Several times I've wondered what we suppose it is desirable to have tools when you use an overhead projector to make a presentation.
Without stating the obvious, I suppose you are all aware that should probably have an overhead projector. Ahh, but what kind of overhead projector you choose?

If you travel a bit and use the projector for sales presentations or training, then you should consider using a portable overhead projector. Today, some of these mobile times the size of a suitcase through the airport making it easy. Other types of overhead positions bending, which makes the projector easy to carry and fits easily in your car.

Once you decide what kind of overhead projector best suits to their needs, then its time to put together what I call AA "Kita Projector Survival." Keep in mind there is nothing worse than an animal room for students or potential customers and is unprepared.
That said, here is what I consider essential for a  "Projector survival Kita

Replacement Lamp: Always have a spare lamp with you, even if the projector is equipped with the lamp changer. Lamps projection are relatively cheap and I suggest you have several spares on hand.
One more note I want to add here. Be sure to carry on their person or to bring into your overhead projector that the order code is for the projection lamp. If for some reason you need to buy more spare parts in the way of this information may be valuable to you in a moments notice. It is also useful to have the number 800 of their favorite AV supplier of parts on hand projector to facilitate access for all your needs while on the road.

Transparency Pens: Never assume that the class or the Chamber Council, where you put your presentation will have adequate transparency pens and a transparent film in hand. My personal preference is soluble in water, pens, there are many cases where they tend to use more markers to my slides. The feathers are soluble in water easily washed away when the feathers Permanent require little effort to remove from the hands of these! A selection of different colored feathers always gives a beautiful presentation as well.

Clean towels and the right Thata water, water. When it comes to cleaning the optics of the projector nothing works better than water. I saw more damage to the overhead perspective of end users who using chemicals or even something as simple as window cleaner. Stick with water, we use as a cleaner in our approach to repair a day. Now, in relation to water, you need a quality cleaning cloth. No paper towels. They scratch the sensitive surface of the optics. I suggested using a towel optical fiber or the like. They are specially designed to clean the surfaces of the Fresnel lens and optical glass without scratching.

Extension adapter: CanÂ't tell you how often I've heard stories about someone who has all good tools, but there is no way to recover your projector energy because the cable is not reached through the only room available AC outlet. I have suggested an extension of a minimum length of 25 feet. Now, once you have done to reach the exit, so frustrating is that the non-leaf container land. Oh, how I share your frustration. Always and always have at least two adapters AC is the land the AC cord for the projector to connect to alternative sockets age are without foundation.

Spare parts: Now, if you are a bit mechanical, you might want to consider having a few spare parts available for some simple repairs can be done either in your room hotel or at home. A simple set of tools will also be necessary. Your electronic tools must include clips of wire cutting and stripping wire, a welder without some welding cable with a small amount of 1/8A "shrink sheath and a small flat screwdriver set with two heads and Phillips. However, no Needless to say, serious adverse reactions power should be entrusted to a professional electronics technician, but a change to a plug that requires a screwdriver in most cases, repairs or replacement of broken glass are simple step you can do on the field if you have spares on hand. This could save many hours of research or a shop or rental shop trying to find an overhead projector for backup.

You probably have some of their own articles, you want to add your own  "projector Kita Survival." This provision should give you a good base to operate and help save some time difficult the next time you make your presentation with your favorite overhead projector.
