Where can I find statistics on consumption and demand?
Looking for an Internet source of consumer goods and statistics demand. In our free market economy, companies can produce what they want. Obviously, the results of home builders, automakers and others have produced more than the required demand. There must be somwhere that has information about how many houses or new cars, etc. are needed each year instead they expect to sell. How many new households are created each year? Otherwise What good is done to build new houses in old houses can not sell? Meanwhile, our politicians are pushing a green agenda estimated, but can expand that requires an enormous investment in infrastructure and to leave behind the old infrastructure with the people pay less to maintain.
