To create and use wind power is not new, by any means. By design more than 500 wind turbines has been a lot of development to improve their effectiveness to the ideal structure has been reached. The pre-industrial Europe wind machines used in a variety of applications such as in irrigation, water wells, mills, grinding corn, drainage and pumping. They have also been used in the manufacture of products such as cocoa, snuff, spices, paints and dyes.

The first mill wind to create the wind power generation was developed in 1888 by Charles F. Brush of Cleveland, Ohio. It was called the brush machine and based on plant design work. It had a rotor diameter of 17 meters with multiple sheets. A long line was attached to the machine that was used brush to turn the rotor into the wind right. This mill was the first to use step by step until the gearbox to produce electricity. The brush of wind operated successfully for 20 years, but has its limits, but only produces 17 kilowatts. It was not fast enough to generate more energy.

In 1891, the Danish Poul la Cour has designed a wind turbine that has been applied aerodynamic principles used in the Mills Tower. Production The result has been faster and more electricity. Before the end of the First World War 25 machines kilowatts of wind power have been used in Denmark.

Wind, small arisen in the 1920s. These machines are produced 1 to 3 kW and is used mainly in the light of the farms in the rural Great Plains. They were also used to charge the batteries from the radio. Finally, were used to power larger appliances such as refrigerators and washing machines.

In 1931, Russia has developed Balaclava wind generator, the first machine that was able to supply bulk electricity. She has worked successfully for 2 years and produces 200,000 kilowatt-hours electricity. The evolution more often during the years of wind engineering improved. Finally, small wind turbines to generate wind power have been created based on the same principles as the bigger models. These machines are currently used to provide electricity. Home Wind Power
